In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, the information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a totally confidential and anonymous basis. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.

Under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, whistleblowing is the disclosure, in the public interest, of information about serious wrongdoing within an organisation, where the individual reasonably believes the information shows unlawful, unsafe, or improper conduct.

"After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a report key. Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5–6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions."

The Process

Step 1 — Employee Concern

An employee is concerned about suspected misconduct. They (a) have raised the concern with management and not received a satisfactory response, or (b) do not feel safe to raise the concern with management.

Step 2 — Notification via NAVEX Hotline

Employee submits a notification through the web portal or by using the telephone hotline to Investigative Solutions.

Step 3 — NAVEX Case Creation

Report details are logged and a Unique Case ID is generated within the NAVEX system.

Step 4 — Initial Case Review: Investigative Solutions

Ant Tenison reviews the case. A decision is made about the context of the concern.

Step 5 — Triage & Risk Assessment

Initial assessment takes account of potential for harm, credibility, urgency, as well as legal and regulatory exposure.

Step 6 — Assignment to Case Manager

Ant Tenison ensures a relevant case manager is assigned, either external (independent) or internal as determined.

Safeguarding

Concerns relating to the potential or actual harm of individuals accessing services.

Conduct

Concerns relating to the behaviour of colleagues in relation to compliance with policy, procedure and professional conduct.

Financial

Concerns relating to financial irregularities, such as potential bribery, fraud, extortion or theft.

Step 7 — Investigation & Dialogue

Evidence is gathered and interviews completed. Communication is maintained with the reporter via the NAVEX system throughout.

Step 8 — Investigation Findings & Outcomes

Conclusions are recorded in the NAVEX system by Investigative Solutions. Requirements, recommendations, necessary action and lessons learned are confirmed. The relevant Board is informed of the outcome.

Step 9 — Case Closure & Record-Keeping

The case is formally closed. All evidence, interview records and communications are retained within the NAVEX system in accordance with record-keeping obligations.

Investigative Solutions operates independently of Tristone Group's management structure, ensuring that your concern is handled with complete impartiality and confidentiality.

Whistleblowing protections are afforded under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
